S E X I O N is a four – piece contemporary jazz outfit conceived at the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2004. Since then S E X I O N has continued as a very well respected ensemble throughout the Sydney live entertainment scenes.

S E X I O N comprises of saxophone, piano, drums and double bass, and on special request a vocalist can be included into the quartet. In 2005 S E X I O N produced their first album, self-titled, and performed launches both in Sydney and Melbourne. They play an eclectic mix of jazz standards, original repertoire, popular music and music to match a vast majority of occasions.

Each member of S E X I O N bring their own unique flavour to the ensemble, having various influences from different styles and genres, thus making it accessible to a variety of audiences and clientele.
